ForkThis is a recipe management application that lets you import recipes from external URLs, track pantry inventory, plan meals, and generate grocery lists. The service is provided "as is" and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be 13 years of age or older to use ForkThis.
You agree not to:
When you import a recipe from an external URL, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to save and use that recipe. ForkThis extracts and stores recipe data (ingredients, steps, etc.) for your personal use. We do not claim ownership of imported recipes. The original recipe creators retain their rights.
ForkThis is an organizational tool, not a source of professional, medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Recipes, nutrition estimates, dietary and allergen labels (such as "gluten-free," "vegan," or "dairy-free"), ingredient substitutions, and cooking guidance are generated automatically — including by AI and from third-party sources you choose to import — and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
Do not rely on ForkThis for allergy, medical, or special-diet decisions. Dietary and allergen tags are estimates and may be wrong. Always read the full ingredient list yourself, verify against the original source and product packaging, and consult a qualified physician or registered dietitian before relying on any recipe or nutritional information — especially if you or anyone you cook for has a food allergy, intolerance, or medical condition.
Nutrition figures are estimates only and are not a substitute for product label information. Cooking carries inherent risks (heat, sharp tools, raw or undercooked foods); follow safe food-handling and kitchen practices. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ForkThis is not responsible for any allergic reaction, illness, injury, or other harm resulting from your use of recipes, ingredient substitutions, nutrition information, or other content in the service.
We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. ForkThis lets you import, save, and in some cases share recipes and related content, including images and notes you add. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload, store, or share any content you add to the service.
If you believe content on ForkThis infringes your copyright, you may send a written notice to our designated agent. To be effective, your notice must include:

A postal mailing address for our designated agent is available on request and will be listed here, and in the U.S. Copyright Office's DMCA Designated Agent Directory, once processing is complete.
We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material. If your content is removed and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may submit a counter-notice to the same agent. We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
Free tier. The free tier includes 10 recipe imports per month and unlimited access to pantry tracking, cook mode, meal planning, and grocery lists. The free tier does not require a credit card.
Plus subscription. ForkThis Plus is a paid subscription at $4.99/month or $39.99/year that unlocks unlimited recipe imports and additional features. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
Lifetime access. Lifetime purchases are a one-time payment that grants access to all current Plus features for the lifetime of the product. Lifetime does not guarantee access to new features added after purchase, though we intend to include them where feasible.
Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time, but we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis — just email us.
Refunds. If the service fails to work as described, contact us within 14 days and we will make it right or issue a full refund.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may occasionally cause downtime. We will communicate planned maintenance in advance when possible.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion permanently removes all your data from our servers. We may also terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
ForkThis is operated by Thornveil LLC. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ForkThis and Thornveil LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice with at least 14 days notice before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights and how disputes between you and us are resolved.
Informal resolution first. If you have a dispute with us, please email [email protected] first. We will try in good faith to resolve it informally. Most concerns can be resolved this way.
Binding arbitration. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 60 days, you and ForkThis agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court — except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies. The arbitration will be conducted in English. This agreement to arbitrate is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
Class action waiver. You and ForkThis agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.
Your 30-day right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement and class action waiver within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" and the email address on your account. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.
If any portion of this section is found unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect — except that if the class action waiver is found unenforceable, this entire arbitration section will be void.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ForkThis is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
